Ok ok she's not a wolf but its the the very best next thing, she is a Siberian Husky, and very wolf like. Pictures will follow shortly. she is 8 months old with beautiful grey and cream markings and a stunning mask.. im chuffed ive finally got one and so very well behaved too
I'm sure I've given you the link to my friend Sandie who has painted wolves and tigers for years. She used to donate her art to a wolf sanctuary near her to help defray the costs for their survival. As a kindness to her she was allowed to paint (and romp with) the wolves anytime she wanted.
She also used to raise Siberian Huskies as she was a devout "musher." She was easily one of the best wildlife artists I ever knew and coincidently enough she married another wildlife artist with international acclaim - J.W. Baker.
If I've already given you this link, I'm sorry (I always promote the art of those I love), but it's worth a look to anyone reading about your new pup (who by the way, is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!).
wow just had a look at the link you sent (you hadnt sent it before) Im hoping, in time to get a couple more huskies and take them to the nearby husky meetings and start racing them, but that is some time way off yet. I have always loved these dogs because of their temperament, they are so loyal and loving and gentle, and very intelligent, they just seem to know, if you get my drift. She is a little jumpy in a puppy sort of way still but she is learning very quick. I just love her to bits. and yes she is very beautiful thank you
Glad you liked the link - Sandi and J.W. have done a LOT for animal welfare and they're really struggling artists. If you leave them a note, make sure to mention me - they'll appreciate it.
